NN Transport

NN Transport Services, a well-established haulage company based in Daventry, Northamptonshire, had built their reputation through word-of-mouth referrals over many years. Despite their prime location in the UK's “Golden Triangle” of Logistics enabling them to reach 95% of the UK population within 4 hours, they recognised the need to expand their digital presence to facilitate further growth.

Operating without a website had served them well historically, but Nicola and Mark knew that to expand their operations and capture new business opportunities, they needed a strong online presence that would showcase their comprehensive range of services and make it easier for potential customers to engage with them.

In Spring 2022, I partnered with NN Transport to create their first website, focusing on simplicity, effectiveness, and lead generation. The project began with thorough keyword research to ensure strong search engine visibility from day one. This research informed both the site's architecture and content strategy, with key search terms naturally integrated throughout the platform.

The website was designed to highlight NN Transport's extensive service offerings, including general haulage, plant transport, Hiab services, and specialised solutions for 'ugly freight'. I implemented clear calls-to-action throughout the site, including prominent phone and email buttons, alongside a streamlined quote request form that simplified the booking process for both customers and staff.

A particular focus was placed on showcasing their geographical advantages, emphasising their strategic location and ability to serve Central London alongside their nationwide coverage. The site also features an Instagram integration displaying previous jobs, helping to build trust with prospective clients and demonstrate their capabilities across different types of haulage work.

Digital Marketing Enhancement

Following the website's launch in April 2022, I implemented a targeted Google Ads pay-per-click campaign. This campaign was carefully structured to be cost-effective while maintaining a steady stream of qualified enquiries and bookings.

The website has proven to be a valuable asset for NN Transport, serving as a dynamic platform that evolves with their business. Its flexible structure has allowed for seamless updates as the company's fleet and services have changed, ensuring the site accurately reflects their current capabilities and equipment.

The combination of strong organic search engine optimisation and targeted paid advertising has established a consistent flow of new business enquiries, complementing their existing word-of-mouth referrals. This digital presence has helped NN Transport expand their customer base while maintaining their reputation for reliable, professional haulage services across the UK.

The website continues to serve as an effective tool for growth, demonstrating how a thoughtfully planned and well-executed digital presence can benefit even well-established businesses in traditional sectors.
